OCRID Battles Diseases Affecting Millions

The Oklahoma Center for Respiratory and Infectious Diseases (OCRID), based at Oklahoma State University, conducts pioneering research into a multitude of  infectious respiratory diseases that sicken millions. OCRID scientists are working to better understand these diseases and develop vaccines and drugs to prevent infection, limit transmission, treat lung injury and avert related infections. In 2018, OCRID received an $11 million NIH grant to continue its work.
