It is universally recognized that entrepreneurship is essential for economic growth and universal prosperity. But how entrepreneurship creates value is rarely understood. In fact, we know very little about the nature of the entrepreneurial function in the economy and even what value is, and therefore, what value creation entails. This session will highlight what entrepreneurs actually do and why they are the lifeblood of an economy. The role and limitations of regulations from this perspective will also be discussed.
