Muwanika Jdiobe grew up in Uganda with dreams of becoming an aerospace engineer. However, there were no aerospace engineering programs in all of Africa. In 2015, Muwanika left home to attend Oklahoma State University. Since then, he has earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in mechanical and aerospace engineering. He is a thesis defense away from his PhD and hopes to one day bring the first aerospace engineering program to Uganda.
