Angelika Arutyunova is a feminist social justice consultant with experience across regions and movements. Angelika’s social justice work begun as youth activist in Uzbekistan. Two decades later, she has developed professional career promoting women’s, youth and LGBTIQ rights and philanthropy. Angelika worked for the world’s largest women’s rights foundation, Global Fund for Women, and Association for Women’s Rights in Development, one of today’s flagship feminist organizations. Angelika co-founded FRIDA, the only feminist youth-led fund in the world that is now a thriving fund with over USD1 Million grantmaking per year. Angelika’s regional expertise in Central Asia, Caucasus, and Europe have helped different foundations to expand their grantmaking portfolios in the region, including currently supporting MADRE in their Ukraine invasion response.
